Description
Subaerial rhyolitic ignimbrites, crystal-, lithic-, vitric-, lapilli-tuffs and rare pitchstone lava flows. At least 1km thick, exposed extensively along the east coast. Dated in the interval 167-173 Ma1. Interbedded with Botany Bay Group (3) at the base of the succession.
