Description

Andesitic volcaniclastic turbidite sequence up to 8km thick. Rare macro fossils indicate an Aptian age but morainal deposits suggest the sequence may extend to Late Jurassic (Thomson et al. 1982)1. Moderately deformed into large scale folds with associated tectonic foliation.
